Kindergarten martial arts classes
Our Kindergarten Program, Centered Kids, incorporates the Excellent Kids™ Curriculum, a life-skills martial arts program. An age-specific curriculum that is both fun and engaging, Excellent Kids provides tools that boost key elements of healthy childhood development.
Each week your child will build their confidence learning life skills such as focus, teamwork, respect, and discipline. They’ll gain valuable awareness of their body through coordination, control, and fitness. This class will help your children know how to respond when faced with a bully or stranger. Centered Kids provides safety skills for your child, and peace of mind for you!
Parents are active participants in their child’s martial arts education.
The Centered Kids curriculum is designed with parents in mind. Parents will participate in classes, and award some of the merit badges yourselves. Parents will also be given supplemental lesson handouts so you know exactly what your children are learning through Centerpoint’s Centered Kids program.
